C is for Cookie, E is for Excellent

About a year ago (Or maybe a little over a week and it just feels like a year) Shannan at MommyBits awarded us the E for Excellent Blog Award. And she called us really smart. We heart her. And by accepting this award, we have to award it to 10 (!!) other blogs that we find worthy. Forgive us if you already have this award (double excellence is good, not bad!) or you have declared a moratorium on blog awards we aren’t aware of. We’re working moms, ya know, we try to keep up, but we might miss something in the grander scheme of things.

Here are 10 blogs we like, and we think you might like, too. (In no particular order…)

Brutally honest humor, served up with some mad Photoshop skillz. You go AB!

Sarah’s “goon squad” twins are so cute and funny, it almost makes us want twins. OK, not really. It’s much easier to just hear about their antics through her stories. And her “Answer Me This” series shows us she cares about us Internets. She really cares.

Robyn is most definitely the boss of HER blog and her working mom life. She’s got cahunas, and we totally respect her for it.

One badass blogger with a strong voice that tells it like it is–like it or not.

C’mon, we couldn’t leave out our girl, Sue, could we? A well-written, inspirational and motivational blog about a couple going from fat to fit.

http://meauxjeaux.blogspot.com/
From cooking to crafting, MeauxJeaux (or Mo Jo) has got it covered.

http://lumpyhead.blogspot.com/
A working mom with two young children and another on the way cracks us up on regular occassion. Plus, Bump, her hubby, has mad Magnadoodle skills.

A blog friend from way back, this self-proclaimed “corporate hack” has is currently navigating the transition from working-mom world to SAHM world. We like being flies on the wall.

http://mamalaw.blogspot.com/
Three intelligent lawyer mamas with six kids between them and another on the way. Be sure to check out out their “MamaLaws.”

A single mom’s journey to financial freedom. Single mom or not–financial freedom is something many strive for. You might think her goals a little lofty, but she’s doing it. If she can, so can we.
