I’m Goin’ to Nashville

This weekend, there’s a mini-BlogHer reunion of sorts going on down in Nashville, Tennessee. And damn it all, I’m going.

BlissDom was the brainchild of the blogging ladies at Blissfully Domestic, Allison Worthington, Karla Porter, DarlaF and Daisy Olsen. I don’t know the backstory of how and why they decided to host their own conference, free of charge, with cool sponsors and everything. But they did, and somehow I got invited, and now I can’t wait to head down there Friday night!

My BlogHer girls (and now good friends) Amy in Ohio and Shannan from MommyBits will be my driving companions and roommates at the Hotel Preston. We plan to let loose, do a little belated celebrating of my 32nd birthday and, of course, get plenty of blog-networking/learning in (which is unlike any painful professional-type networking you may have experienced–it’s actually really fun!)

Thank you, thank you, thank you, dear husband, for agreeing to being super dad this weekend so Mama can have a little fun. You are the best!

Nashville, here I come.

    I went to Nashville once. Took a “homes of the stars” bus trip and saw where Johnny Cash and Reba lived. I think I was twelve? Anyway, have fun!
