While we’re posting awesome articles, check out this one from this week’s New York Times magazine. It’s about how more and more people are suing their employers for the right to care for family members without losing their jobs or being demoted. Pretty powerful stuff. The headline in the hard copy version asks if workers should have the right to care for their families. Uh, hell yes! You know the bosses and CEOs and shareholders are all caring for their families. And they’re doing it with money they’ve made from the labors of those who work under them.
Oh, and check out what the article has to say about the negative stereotyping that women with children face in the workplace. Scary!
