—I am Marching for Maddie this weekend in the March of Dimes walk at Sawyer Point with AmyInOHio, Mommybits, and a few other good souls. There are walks all across the nation this week and next. If you’d like to be involved, look for a walk in your area, join our team, or if you feel so inclined, make a donation. Just click on that badge to the left or here to learn how you can help tiny babies and their familes.
—Yesterday was “Take Your Child to Work Day” at my company. I was lucky enough to be involved, even if O is too young to partake just yet. The kids had a blast hanging out at an interactive agency complete with Wii games projected on a big screen, tons of computers with Internet access, mass snacks, and more.
But what I thought was really cool is this fun application that one of my coworkers Tim created for a young man who was interested in Flash. Tim said the boy was the creative visionary behind the project, while Tim acted as the production artist. I think it’s just awesome. Of course, a great headline and a few lines of copy would have made it even awesomer.
