— Join the Momversation. Some of the web’s most outspoken mom-bloggers are featured on this new site to have smart, entertaining video conversations about hot topics. The first video features Heather Armstrong (AKA Dooce) pondering the dilemma of opposing political views with family and friends. I’m really looking forward to future videos.
— Cook with your kids and help others in need. Parenting magazine is teaming up with the Young Chefs Academy for a holiday food drive/family fun event. From now through Dec. 8, you can drop off non-perishable food items at YCA locations across the country. And on Dec. 6, they’ll host a free event that includes hands-on culinary activities for kids and their parents, product giveaways, and much more! Check the site to see if there’s a YCA near you.
Sara’s Finds

Even if you were just learning your ABCs while the rest of us were leaning the Thriller dance, you should check it out. It’s a hilarious literal interpretation of a video that was never intended to be taken literally. UPDATE: I totally missed the FF a couple of weeks ago when Tela posted a similar Aha video. Sorry, T! (Just goes to show that I need to read my own blog a bit more faithfully…)
