Working Mom Morning Routine: Do You Have What It Takes?

Grab a die and whatever balls of lint you can find for game pieces to see if you have what it takes to survive the working mom morning routine.

Imagine this working mom morning routine (cue Edvard Grieg’s classic and oft-used composition depicting the dawn of a new day here). You stretch lazily and roll out of bed at your own leisure, wrap a delicate silk robe around your rested body, and meander downstairs to find a cup of steaming hot coffee awaiting you.  You pick up the Times and fall gracefully into a soft (and clean) armchair, put your feet up, and begin to sip the hot beverage as you flip through the pages of the newspaper, trying to decide which section you’ll enjoy first.

JUST KIDDING. (Cue record screeching to a halt.) You have kids, maybe a dog, maybe a spouse, a job and YOU MUST GET TO WORK!

What are mornings really like for working moms?  Imagine growing a third leg that you can only move by lifting it with your arms.  And now you can share this experience with your friends with WMAG’s newest board game… Get to Work!

The goal is simple but the road is treacherous.  Part frustration, part endurance, and part war of attrition, this game will have you in tears, much like mornings in a working mom’s household.  So, grab a die and whatever balls of lint or gum wrappers you can find for game pieces, and see if you have what it takes to GET TO WORK.
