Healthy Motivation on Tap

A healthier lifestyle. We all know we should have one (with the exception of you super-duper health nuts, a la Chris Traeger, Rob Lowe’s character on Parks and Recreation — you’re aces).

But with all our working, parenting and whatnot, finding the time to actually do healthy things can be a challenge.

There’s got to be an app for that, right? Well, let’s assume there are a million apps for healthy lifestyle. I’m sure there are, but I don’t have time to look at them.

I did have a few moments, however, to check out HealthTap — simply because they asked if WMAG would be a launch partner for their new TipTaps feature. Once I downloaded the app and saw how freakin’ sweet HealthTap is, I agreed. Consider us launch partners. (Maybe this will automatically make me healthier, I hope?)

Here’s the scoop: HealthTap offers web and mobile apps that give you immediate, free access to health answers from a network of 32,000 U.S.-licensed doctors.

And now, their TipTaps are aimed at people like working moms, who want bite-sized, expert help for the entire health and wellness spectrum, on whatever topics interest you. You can opt to get quick little nuggets of knowledge via text, in-app/online notification or email, however you prefer. And they make these TipTaps both attractive to view and easy to share.

The idea is you’ll get daily motivation in small doses to tackle the health issues that matter to you. I like this. I like how the app functions and the fact that it’s supported by real medical practitioners.

So I say, download HealthTap for free, try the new TipTaps, and here’s to your good health!
