Mamas on the Town

I’m cruising into my third day here in San Francisco at BlogHer ’08 and going strong.

If you could tap into the boundless collective energy of these awesome blogging women, you probably could power a medium-sized nation. I’ve met so many cool chicks who are away from their kids for the first time in years. Years.

And while we all miss our lil’ tater tots (as MommyBits calls them), ain’t no party like a West Coast party of hot mamas on the town. Last night, I met up with an old friend for dinner at a fabulous fusion restaurant, Triptych. Then we joined up with my BlogHer crew plus a few new friends and had drinks and dessert at Scala’s. After a long day of networking and learning, we still had plenty to discuss–and laugh/cry about.

Pictured above: Amy in Ohio, MommyBits, yours truly, our honorary Nati girl Meghan who happens to live in Santa Barbara, and Phototrade Krista.

More good times to come, including a progressive party at Macy’s on Union Square tonight.
