There’s Still Time to Sound Off on FMLA

The Family Medical Leave Act is the only federal law we working moms can count on to guarantee time off from our jobs for giving birth and caring for loved ones. It’s not great, but it’s something. As I wrote about in December, the U.S. Labor Department has requested public comment about FMLA.

Fortunately for us procrastinators, the deadline has been extended! Now you have until Feb. 16 to give Uncle Sam a piece of your mind.
